Leo Full Moon 2/9 — Dissolution of the Illusion

  • by

This is a pivotal time of change.

And it is not the change itself that is especially challenging, as way set our feet on solid ground again. It is always the space between, the gap between the known and the unknown, the shifting sands of unpredictability, that creates the test.

Much of this fluctuation will be of the sudden variety. We have an emphasis on Aquarian energy floating around after all. At this Full Moon, we have the Sun in Aquarius directly opposite the Moon in Leo.

Additionally, we are a week into the shadow or set-up phase for the first Mercury retrograde of the year in Aquarius and Pisces.

Expect revelations and revolutions.

Shocks of awakenings.

Sudden events that disrupt the status quo.

Which is exactly right.

Change can’t happen in our comfort zone.

Aquarius is all about the freedom of thinking beyond the habitual mind. It is a genius perspective that allows us to release the rigidity of the confines of our repetitive mindsets rousing us to new, broader, and more expansive outlooks. It is also about technical and often inconvenient truths. The kind of truths we may resist because it will require the dissolution of any tendrils of dissonance.

Aquarius quenches the fire of ambivalence.

It forces us to really see.

Which often means we will be wrong, before we are right.

The goal, of course, is a revolution in authenticity. A rising against the dormancy of routine and a requirement to BE different. Any life event that suddenly arises, any ending, any beginning, is a shock of awakening, freeing us from some life situation, mindset, belief system, story, or spell that is blocking the very road to our freedom.

We are now officially in the Aquarian age, after all.

The dissolution of the illusion is upon us.
