New Moon in Sagittarius 11/26 — Letting the Arrow Fly

  • by

We have all been in the depths of late.
So much revelation.
So much shadow walking.
So much transformation.

Weary we may be, soul tired and spent from the journey of late. Though steeped in wisdom, the uncovering is often exhausting and soul tiring.

Now what?

Mercury has finally gone direct and moved into the integration phase of the cycle. This means we are meant to LIVE the lessons we have learned and integrate the transformation that has occurred.

Whatever has been disorganized, is now meant to be put together in a better way.

Whatever has been uncovered, is now meant to be dealt with.
Whatever has been assessed and found wanting is now meant to be updated.

It is important to remember, when past emerges (and it has!), it does so not to validate our stories but to allow an opportunity to write a new one.

This New Moon in Sagittarius echoes that theme.

Sag brings in some optimism, some hope, and positivity. With Jupiter transiting the Galactic Center, we are urged to take leaps of faith and ACT on all we have learned (for more on that go to Galactic Center Magic).

It is finally time to move forward.

Master strategist and warrior asteroid goddess Pallas Athene also stands with this New Moon adding her fierce wisdom, confidence, and need for both justice and truth.

Myth tells us she was born from the head of her father, symbolizing her ownership of her masculine side in balance with her feminine. Real wisdom, after all, is holistically forged in the fire of all of our intelligences. Master tactician, she is the force within us that has the ability to weigh all sides to discern not what is selfishly desired, but what is for the highest good. Pallas Athene is the force within us that battles for what is right based on reason and logic, ignoring greedy rhetoric and over-emotional pleas. She is a cut to the chase, no bullshit, tell it like it is force, that demands maturity. She, through her cunning and sacred discipline, has the ability to transform the victim to the victor.

She reminds us to get up no matter how tired we are, to stand tall regardless of our situation, to rise with every thread of reckoning.

The strength is within you.
You KNOW what you need to do.
You may feel like you need a hero to save you.
Pallas Athene reminds us you are your own hero.

Sagittarius is represented by the archer. The archer, silent and calculating, draws the tension on the bow and aims, breath held, body taught. Then she simply lets the arrow fly, trusting the arrow will find its mark.

“Don’t die with your music still in you.”

Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

It is time to let your arrow fly.
Take the risk.
Do the thing you have always wanted to do.
Say yes.
Try something new.

Do the things that genuinely excite you- especially even scare you a little.

Find what sets your soul on fire and fuel it with passion.

Stand up against the haters and the voice that tells you you can’t do it. Because in this time of expansion and moving forward, it doesn’t mean there will not be opposition. Quite the opposite, in fact.

How do you push the confines of our comfort zone without doubt or trepidation?
How do you claim trust without taking a leap of faith?
The real evolution is in is the doing.

This New Moon is about expanding the confines of our comfort zones to include new terrain. It is about seeking and walking through the open doors of possibilities that have emerged. It is about harnessing the threads of gratitude and optimism as the graces they are, shining their lights through the most dark of nights.

“Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”

– Melody Beattie
