New Moons represents new beginnings. This New Moon is in Aries, the first sign of the zodiac. We have beginnings in the sign of beginning.
Exactly how that looks in your life and what specific themes are being activated for you, depends on where Aries falls in your unique chart as well as what conversations that placement is having with other planets. However, one conversation this New Moon is having is with Venus. This is an extremely telling aspect because Venus is currently retrograde, which is an important cycle. (For more on that, check out the Astrology of 2017). The Sun, Moon, and Venus are having an in-depth, deeply honest dialog regarding what is truly important in life.
Themes have been arising that ask us to challenge what we really value, what is truly important and where we need to assert these truths. Venus is the planet that represents love and connection after all. No doubt, there have been truths revealed in the relationship department of your life. Revelations are sometimes easy and enlightening, in inspiring moments of clarity. More often, though, these truths have edges. They rise from the depths of your unseen places and shake the very foundation. These earthquake-like truths may not be easy to navigate, but they carry with them the potential energy to carry us to a brand new level of change.
Ask yourself…
What do you really value?
What is truly important in your life?
*What keeps you from real love, connection and acceptance with yourself and others?
What do you need to do to bring more of what you love into your life?
What is your life showing you about relationship patterns that may not be working for you?
Whatever that is, Aries reminds us we very likely need to fight for it. There is action we must take. The mud has been stirred, things have arisen from below to the surface, and we can no longer look away. We must assert our will with what we value and action with what is truly loving- to ourselves and our world. The choice points are right in front of us because this current cycle exposes where we are out of alignment with our very soul contract and destiny. Our destiny is the conscious engagement of our purpose. This cycle of beginning asked us to align the two.
Where are you out of alignment with your destiny?
What is your life revealing to you regarding purpose?
We all struggle with this question. Likewise, it is also a question not easily addressed in our world of external validation and “shoulds”. In that spirit of choice points, beginnings, destiny, and purpose, I share my thoughts on the subject.
