This New Moon occurs on March 6th at 15 ° Pisces. A day after Mercury officially goes retrograde at 29 ° Pisces. Adding to that we have a conjunction with Neptune.
In short, this month we are surfing Piscean waves.
The shadow or set-up phase for the retrograde has been active since 2/19. So this cycle is already being felt. (I don’t need to tell you- you’re living it).
The life excavation has begun.
All retrogrades are a time of reassessment, revision, reflection, and renewal. Mercury, aka messenger of the gods, was the one who could freely travel between the underworld, Earth, and the divine realms. Symbolically then, we too are meant to delve into our own many layers, unconscious, conscious, and divine, to glean essential wisdom and insight.
Mercury retrogrades are nothing to fear. They are merely times where new information, insights, and inspirations emerge to lead you to your highest potential. As we travel from the known to the not yet know though, we often find ourselves adrift in the waters of uncertainty.
Which can feel overwhelming.
The Piscean remedy, of course, is to not fight the current. It is to grow gills and fins to find solace in the murky waters.
Pisces illuminates the mystic within-to flow, to surrender ego control, to trust the swells and surge no matter how rough it seemingly gets.
Mystical paths always require an initiation after all.

In general, though, you can expect:
1) Release moments- Pisces is about letting go of something important to make room for something else. For something new to begin, something must end. This can happen with or without our permission. Note that anything that seems to be drifting away, any challenging truths, experiences, identities, relationships that want release, no matter how you want to grip, trust it is time to let them go.
2) Increased Intuition and Sensitivity- The logical left-brain takes a back seat in most retrogrades, and in Pisces in particular. The forward motion, linear, and habitual pattering of that mind is part of the problem. During this retrograde, we are meant to tap into more intuitive parts to find more profound knowledge (think dreams, intuition and empathic ability). If you find yourself confused during a retrograde, it is typically because you are accessing the wrong mind. So, go deeper to the other voice that really knows.
3) Shadow Emerging/ Fear- From a Piscean soul perspective our shadow fear-based shame, habits, and beliefs are holding us back. Thus, that is precisely what needs release. When our shadow layers or fear emerges, it is not to convince us of our powerlessness. It is an opportunity to take our power back.
4) The need to Pause- Think communication breakdowns, technology glitches, and overall disorganization. These things are the classic stereotypes of Mercury retrogrades. Of course, the pauses are not there just to make your life hard. They are to slow you down so you can reevaluate something important. Often the stop is so you can allow needed new information in before going forward.
5) Trust and Patience-During this time we are given what we need to know on a need to know basis. Trust becomes a practice as we move breath to breath, hour to hour. The answers will come. They just may not come as fast as we want them to. Remember to allow curiosity to lead so fear doesn’t take charge.
6) Go to God-Pisces remind us we are not alone in our path forward. There is something bigger lighting the way. A grace, a god, a whole guidance squad that has our backs. We just need to ask and then pay attention to the signs as they appear.
7) Emerging Magic- Pisces destiny is its ability to lean so deeply into uncertainty the rules of form no longer apply. After all miracles, epiphones, synchronicities, and insightful downloads do not exist in the world of habitual certainty.
Because, when we remove the lens of perpetual forward motion, the signs are everywhere.
And anything can happen.
So, while this can be a challenging time, it can also be one of profound reassurance, awe-inspiring meaning, and wonder. Pisces reminds us there is a reason you are here. Right now. It reminds us there is a world just as real we cannot perhaps see with our eyes but find with our hearts. There is an animating force to matter, a quantum field of potential.
Listen and trust it knows the way.
