Eclipses commonly happen in pairs and set the stage for the whole year. Once in a while, we get three eclipses instead of two, extending the learning cycle a little longer. That is precisely what is occurring as we end the eclipse cycle with a third New Moon Solar Eclipse in the sign of Leo.
Since eclipses happen as a team, their meaning is sequential and supportive of each other.

The New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer began the cycle mid-July, revealing the pure grace and power of empathy as it dances with authenticity. It highlighted the ways we allow logic to supersede emotion and choose greed over empathy.

The latest Full Moon Lunar Eclipse revealed the shadowed blocks keeping us from walking through the gateway to freely expressing our authentic selves.
This next New Moon Solar Eclipse asks us to travel through the doorway of choice to LIVE this new truth, our heart not broken but expanded. It asks us to shine with a brighter light.
In a nutshell, we have been rocked, perhaps shocked, offered flashes of insight, and experienced lightning bolts of truth. Things have been uncovered, illuminated, excavated, and brought from the shadowed depths to light. There have been endings and thus, beginnings, destruction and subsequent creation. Some of this will feel out of our conscious control and the revelations harsh, even cold. It might feel like “too much”, “too fast”, “too hard”, and overall overwhelming.
For some it may feel like a line in the sand has been drawn, a choice point demanded.
Fire and rebirth.
Destruction and evolution.
Habit or Change.
You get to decide.
If it’s showing up, you are ready.
This New Moon Solar Eclipse in Leo reminds you of that.
Leo rules the heart. Our being. The essence of who we are. The original flame of our passion, purpose, and very destiny. It is the fire of our creativity, and the spark of life housed seep within. It is our light, the way we shine in the world. It is how we are seen and where and how we are asked to lead.
Leo IS our force of sovereignty.
Done well, we inspire. Done poorly, we terrify and control.
Love or fear. We are always offered the choice of which to channel the energy through.
The revelation and then the reckoning.
Mercury joins the party offering us the necessity of curiosity and an open mind. Curiosity and fear cannot coexist after all.
Additionally, Pallas Athene, the mighty warrior asteroid goddess herself, also marches next to this Moon adding her fierce wisdom, justice, and truth.
Myth tells us she was born from the head of her father symbolizing her ownership of her masculine side. Real wisdom is holistically forged in the fire of all of our intelligences (emotional, logical, intuitive, and historical). It is the ability to weigh all sides to discern not what is selfishly desired, but what is for the highest good. Pallas Athene is the force within us that battles for what is right based on reason and logic ignoring greedy rhetoric and over-emotional pleas. She is a cut to the chase, no bullshit, tell it like it is force, that demands maturity. She, through her cunning and sacred discipline, has the ability to transform the victim to the victor.
Is it any wonder she is being summoned right now?
The flame of justice burns brightly. We need her wisdom both personally and collectively.
It is so easy to get bogged down in our own story. To feel broken, confused, disillusioned, and powerless when our story feels more prominent than our solutions. We say we are only one person. We cannot create change. We are not strong or smart enough. We are not worthy. It can feel as insurmountable as holding back the tides of the ocean. At times like this, we want a superhero to save us, a force bigger than ourselves.
This is Pallas Athene. The Wonder Woman of our psyche.
And she is within you.
So, we summon her and we are reminded of two truths.
1) We cannot solve a problem with the same mind that created it.
2) The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results.
Significant change is rippling through our world. Choice points are being revealed. I cannot remember a time quite like this.

Pallas is a strategist, a force to be reckoned with. Both terrifying and empowering, it is time to take a step over the line into a new reality. Both, Pallas Athene and Leo demand movement. It is time to act. Do. Be.
Some tips as we walk through this time:
~Letting go is essential, but equally important is DOING. Remember, intention creates expansion. You co-create with every thought you have. So, make sure those thoughts are in alignment with what is true, and are not echoes from the past.
~Feed the fire. Own it. Stoke it. What lights you up? Do more of that. Purpose is found in passion and inspiration after all.
~If the political system has gotten your attention, take action. Join a movement. Educate yourself. Read. Listen. Speak up.
~Change often requires sacred discipline . This is line in the sand kind of discernment, which means choosing what is right and just over what is comfortable or familiar.

~Burn away what is holding you back. With so much fire in the air, a fire ritual of release can be helpful. Write out your resentments, those letters you’ll never send, gather your objects that require release, and burn them both literally and figuratively.
~Small acts of kindness can spread faster than any fear. Start a fire of altruism and live with that intention.
~Joy work. Expanding our field of joy and abundance is not easy, but so worth it. (How to expand your field of abundance).
Eclipses are like blinks of our eyes. We shut them and open them, and in a flash we see a new world. Eclipses represent significant changes, leaps in consciousness, and tremendous resets to the system. This isn’t always smooth and steady. In fact, it rarely is.
The gifts are not found in the ease after all, but in the burning itself.
Like an alchemist we take the most dense of lead, add the fire of transformation, and we are left with gold.
